Zaragoza, Capital Mundial de la Garnacha

The II Garnacha Fair, held in Zaragoza, World Capital of Garnacha, has once again demonstrated the growing passion for discovering, enjoying, and celebrating the exceptional #GarnachaWines of Aragón🍇🍷 in Spain.

Over the course of the event, visitors from Zaragoza, across Spain, and from around the world came together to experience Garnacha in all its expressions, tasting outstanding wines, meeting producers, and enjoying a vibrant programme of  wine tastings, live music and entertainment.

The success of this second edition, held in June 2026, is reflected not only in the attendance figures, but also in the fantastic feedback received throughout four intensive days of professional and casual wine tastings. Our dedicated tasting area welcomed wine professionals and enthusiasts alike, showcasing Protected Designations of Origin Cariñena, Calatayud, Campo de Borja, Somontano (D.O.s) and more areas, wineries, wines, innovative projects, and initiatives that promote the culture and heritage of wine. Every tasting session was at full capacity and waiting lists!!

Set in a welcoming, tree-lined venue with a relaxed atmosphere, great company, and exceptional wines, the fair once again proved to be a unique meeting point for the Garnacha community.

A heartfelt thank you to all the visitors, wineries, producers, partners, and collaborators who made this event possible. Together, we continue to position Zaragoza and Aragón as one of the world's great Garnacha destinations for winelovers.

Thank you so much for being part
of this tasty journey
🍷🍇Cheers!!

#WineTalks much more than wine tastings

Since a few years ago, I am developing a very gratifying activity within the marketing of wine. It´s about carrying out the #WINETALKS where I speak and share knowledge about Culture and History of wine while tasting wines from Spain and around the world. I love to see people´s faces as I go through the stories and characteristics of the region, grapes, producers and wines. #Winelovers show lots of enthusiasm and curiosity while listening, asking and tasting.

For that reason, I am always thinking about new ideas and appealing topics to generate interest among people who love wine and want to discover and understand wines, grapes, places, philosophies, why wines are made in a way and not in another and taste different.

Up to date, hundreds of people have enjoyed this activity where friends, couples, families, working colleagues gather together to spend a pleasant time as they learn about the wonder of the wine world.

Even during the hardest moments lived during the post-pandemic days, people were keen on coming to the winetalks and keep learning and having fun. Nothing could stop us from living and sharing stories and wine!

I keep on searching wines and its stories that will please people in order to reach everyone who is not afraid of the unknown. I want to democratise this wonderful liquid element, that was enthroned, and make it accessible to every person. Once you know it, it becomes easy, friendly, close and in your hand.
So, why not give wine a chance this year? And remember: life tastes better with wine while people gathering together. Cheers!!

¡SALUD!

Wine comes from grapes

After travelling through several countries with "no wine culture" and teaching children about wine, I found indispensable to make a brief presentation for wine beginners, newcomers and curious people from any place interested in discovering where the wine comes from.

No, wine does not come from a tap nor a carton (I heard it about milk!!).
The WINE comes from the vineyards where VINES are planted and bunches of GRAPES grow.

Simple, isn´t it? Well, not so simple....Click here to see full presentation of:  "from the vine to the glass"
